So I was having real problems with the throttle on the R1 at Jennings over the weekend and at PBIR on Monday. Should have checked it more often but look at these crazy numbers. One of few maps DynoJet has on their website for the 09 R1 happens to be the same setup as mine. PC V, Full Akra, Stock Air Filter (BMC on backorder).
The first picture is the map they came up with the exact same setup as me. The second is what "Auto-Tune" setup me with. Some are as high as +86; some of the changes from cell to cell are over 100. No wonder the shit was jerking me around through turns. Looks like a call to DynoJet is in order. Because when I test the sensor it tests fine. When I look at the PC V with the bike running it seems to keep the AFR between 13.0-13.4. Which is where it should be. Of course this is at idle, on the stand with no load on the engine so I don't know how much of a difference that make. I guess it doesn't look THAT far off when more throttle is applied, but still something isn't right.
Maybe I'm not using it right. I started with the Akro Full map and set the trim limits to 20%. Took it out a session. Looked at the trims (look more reasonable in the auto-tune trim area). Then accept the trims. You would think after doing this on back to back track days by the end it would be trimming much much less. instead it just kept adding and adding in a lot of areas.
Big Pic warning. Full Screen Shots:
