Starter hanging

Anyone had problems with their starter hanging during cold starts? Only does it when the bike sits for 8-hours or more. I have to hit the start button 2-3 times when cold and when the bike starts it hangs for a couple of seconds. Just started doing it this week. I have 950 miles on it.

Mine does it occasionally. Cranks for like 2-3 secs, then I stop, hit button again and it fires right up. Usually on cold starts. I generally get out to ride once a weekend on average so my bike sits all week. I have 284 whopping miles in 3 months on mine! :(

Sounds like the same problem. Dealer told me to document when it does it and bring it if it doesn't go away.
