tgpatrsn 05-11-2009, 07:43 PM I just bought a 02 R1 and it needs tires. The bike has a 180-55 on the back. What is everyone running back there? I'm think about putting on 190-55 Pirelli Corsa. I ride the street and track. I havnt seen anything about the size for 02 R1s. Thanks BOAZ632 05-11-2009, 08:34 PM Stock, there should be a 190/50 rear but I know that there are some who run a 180/55 rear with good results. I personally run a 190/55 rear on my track bike because I am looking for a faster turn in and more contact surface area. When in doubt go with the stock specs and you should be fine.
