We are just now coming together as a group, and with everyone on different schedules, and different locations, I think it's a great time to organize our first "Unveiling" to the region. MARK YOUR CALENDARS...PUT IN TIME OFF REQUESTS...AND GET THE LOGO ON YOUR WINDSCREEN *cough, Nick, cough* Sunday, June 28th is Bike Fest, downtown Colorado Springs. I've been the last three years, and it is always the biggest gathering of bikes of all types in this city. This would be a great way for the group to not only meet for the first time, but for us all to roll up together, and park together, representing the squad. I love going every year, and think it would be great for all of us. Also, there will be a bikini bike wash. So after meeting up away from downtown, we can find some mud, and just dirty up the bikes (hoping for two or three girls required to wash the bikes). good post chris, I have the logos printed, smallest we could squeeze out on a standard die cut vinyl was 6x6 which was bigger than I wanted to go due to detail. I can have them made to 4x4 on a printer but they will be more expensive..... just posted up the logo section as well....

I've been the last two years, and I'd say its about 35%-40% Sportbikes. This town has a large military presence, and most of that young crowd drives them thanks to their sign on bonus. There are also a lot of booths geared around performance mods, paint, and racing items. It is a big event, really chill, and of course the bikini girls!

Thought I'd bump this thread here...next Sunday is Bike Fest. Nick, any chance I can get the squad logo to get on the bike by Sunday? Send to me at th1nm1nt@comcast.net.

Chris, I'm still waiting for Sal to add the r1-forum.com onto the decal, I have given him everything he needs and am just waiting for a reply.... I can then send you the file. Maybe Lee can put it in on his computer? I'm starting to get pissed I can't get this logo right and want it done so I can just order everyone's alotment, and as a matter of fact you are the only one who has still contacted me about them. I really do apologize for the delay and am going to send sal another email right now.

I appreciate your skeelz man! Man, when you put the color version next to the all black version, I notice quite a loss of detail within the logo itself. Enough loss of detail that I don't think I want the single color. Since I am leaning for the 4x4, which requires a printer to cut anyways, I'm thinking of sticking with the colored version just to keep the detail. Nick, pull the two up side by side, and give me your thoughts. If we want to keep the logo in a single color, I recommend reopening the voting thread. Personally, it looks like crap man. Just a thought.

Quitting is going good, made it 30 hours so far! I miss my bike LOL. I can't wait to get home and ride it. I have 4,000 dollars in mods sitting at the house waiting for me to get home and put it on. I went with Yosh 3/4 carbon system 520 -1+2 Pazzo levers PC V w/autotune air cleaner and some misc look good goodies And P.R.M mod (the most important)

Yo chris, how is your vinyl man going to print the multicolored one and how much will it run, is there any way to use the original we voted on and put that lettering in on it? The fellow I have do them has a die cut machine, his cousin prints and could print the multicolored one, but its a lot more expensive to print compared to a typical die cut vinyl. Seems like you have the photoshop skills is there any way you could help us out. My only concern is the lettering below the circle is going to be very small in a 4x4, its up to the squadron for that call. I want to get a final design done and get these cut out. Anything smaller than 6x6 on a die cut machine chews the vinyl up where the teeth are, I had a second shop try to make it smaller in Denver and the same problem arose that my friend had. Just figured the small lettering might be too small, might work for a 6x6.

btw I guess sal no longer exists, I have tried 4 times to get a hold of him, he did all of the logos for almost every squadron on here, and for some reason is no longer present.

Give me a couple of days to get down to my POC at the SignShop. They are as big as they come, so if they can't do it, it can't be done. I'll update the board as soon as I can.

I don't think i could ride that far, this busted collar bone is a b$tch, I did ride all the way around the shop, pretty good for a week after the crash.

If all goes well, I'll also be bringing Jolene (riding bitch to Dawn) and Brittany (who rolls her own R1). I think Nick is looking for font that stands out a bit more for both the squad name and the forum name. The though being that when we take the logo to 3" or 4", the font will be hard to read. Take the color version I attached, or PM me your e-mail address, and I will send you the color logo, without any text, in *.PSD format. Thanks in advance! I went back to the basic and did not get fancy with the font style. Straight to the point and should print vinyl without a problem. Proof and make comments/recommendations and I will send the final product (high resolution) to Th1n! Hopefully you will meet your deadline and have them ready for the event.

Seriously! Damn its been a while since anyone has posted. Well... I got a new job at work so now I have every weekend off. Makes it a lot easier to go riding when I have a set schedule. So lets plan something sometime and all get out on one of these weekends and get in a good squadron ride!! :rock
