Got 09 r1, when setting off if you dont give it any throttle in first gear, are they supposed to pop and jump a bit and sound like they're going to stall?! just wondered!

Got 09 r1, when setting off if you dont give it any throttle in first gear, are they supposed to pop and jump a bit and sound like they're going to stall?! just wondered! Mine pops some. So far I am absolutely NOT A FAN of the throttle by wire. It's ****ing with the PC V hard and the launching is a problem so far. Hopefully it's just me getting used to it and trying to figure out what is going on with my PC.
