From the website: http://www.joerocket.com/catalog/item.cfm?products_id=156 "1.0mm cowhide top Pittards® armor tan® palm Carbon embossed reinforcement on fingers Heat and abraision resistant aramid liner R.A.I.S.™ Molded vents Double leather wrap around palm Double cuff closure Molded knuckle protector with gel padding Molded thumb, finger and wrist protector " The fit is awesome for me. I tried on those Icon TIMax gloves in 2 sizes and neither one fit right. The protection factor of these gloves appears good, hopefully I'll never have to report on it. It has a long gauntlet that will cover the wrists well. Fastens securely with Velcro. The vents on the knuckles will definitely help in warmer weather, although I'm not sure if it will make my hands too cold on cooler days. It's supposed to be in the mid 60's and sunny here tomorrow so I'll give them a test drive and report back. Here's a pic of the ones I got as well....

I bought my speedmaster gloves like yours last year, before I had a chance to use them I read some shitty reviews. All I can say after owning them for a year and 8 000 km of riding is WOW. Mine have held up perfectly, stitching hasn't deteriorated one bit and they're well ventilated for the hot days. Oh the fit, well it was like they used my hand for the mold. I liked them so much I bought a pair for my wife.
