High Speed Compression Setting

Am I the only one that has too much high speed compression on the rear shock? I've got the thing dialed down to the minimum and i'm still getting my butt kicked off the seat over some bumps on the freeway. Pretty rough. I'm tempted to dial down the low speed compression to see if it has any affect on the high speed circuit.

Are your other settings front and rear like it came from Yamaha? What is your weight? For me (75 Kg in gear), standart is only a bit but kicking if the road is realy bad. Maybe to much spring preload in the rear? Mine had a rear sag from 20mm in stock adjusment (of course with rider).

Yeah, sag has been adjusted to 30mm in front and 20mm in the rear. Just seems a bit too harsh, although i do sit more forward than most and i weigh 170lbs with gear.

Hmm, these are small numbers for street use. My numbers are between 25 and 30mm for street use in the rear. To see if it has something to do with your preload, you can adjust for 30mm rear sag and do a testride. If problem doesn't apear, do more preload until problem beginns to start again. And try to get hi comp. in a normal state again :)
