Okay, several Squadrons still require C/Os, including: Midwest, Mountain, West/Southwest, and Canada. There are a lot of really great, helpful peeps in these regions, so I know it is not for a lack of talent!
Satan has been doing a great job in the UK, and unless there are any objections, he seems the natural choice as he has been organizing things. Likewise Godfather has been doing a lot of work for the SouthCentral Squadron.
Remember as C/O you really don't have to do any more than be your own, natural, helpful self. Collect member info (keep it secure!) so that when new people show up wanting riding buddies, you can go, hey, I know just the people! You also help choose the name, post polls to vote on insignia designs and slogans. Basic geek-fest stuff. Nothing serious. Oh yeah, you activate the squadron so you can saddle up and go and put the big hurt on local bike thieves. That's all.
So step on up fellas! The winter months is the perfect time to spend at your keyboard PMing and emailing people!
A big thank you to all the help I and all the other members here have already gotten from the official and unofficial squadron leaders! Good job guys! :rock
P.S. you do NOT have to currently own a bike to be C/O, so don't let that discourage you. If you care about your fellow riders, and would like to do more for the sport of motorcycling, I want you!
