Well I finally had some time between all the traveling I been doing to have my bike dyno tuned. My question is the numbers look a little low I'm curious if its because of the dyno settings or something else.
I had the tune from the power commander website loaded on the bike and still gained a decent bit from the custom tune so I'm happy either way just figured I would ask some of you that know a bit more about this than myself.

Dynos are just a tool. You picked up 4hp from when you came in on that dyno so thats all that matters. You could take it to a different dyno and it might say 168 but you made gains so your good !
From the dyno chart, regardless of the hp you can see the NA ECU limiting output above 11500. Really sucks and wish there was an easy way to get this back.

This a big issue with the '09's right now, they dont look good on dynos. The '09 engine is not tuned for peak HP, but more low end and midrange HP. Also dynos vary, a buddy of mine that owns a race bike prep shop told me that he can run a bike on his dyno and get some numbers, then run it on another dyno, same bike, same temp, same everything, but the other dyno will read + or - up to 10% for no apparent reason. Just make sure the dyno you are using was calibrated recently, and the numbers should be more or less accurate.
