How To? Change Ignition to new Triple [Archive]

Hello, Not sure if this is the right place for this but I was wondering if any one could tell me the best way to put my old ignition onto a different triple clamp? I know the wierd bolts/rivets have to be cut grindered off, but was wondering if it was actually threaded in there and I could put bolts back afterwards. Any help would be appreciated.
