: Rotella T 15w40???

I have read about guys running rotella t 15w40 in there bikes.... What do you guys think good idea or not, i just dont like this 10qt stuff also can i do rotella synthetic 5w40?? Thanks in advance

I use it on my R1... then after the bike gets done with it I use it in the lawn mower...

In my not-so-humble opinion, don't use the non-synthetic 15w40. Use the 5w40 synthetic Rotella. Good stuff. Maybe not the absolute best, but absolutly the best value. I can't prove it will perform as well as Amsoil, but I do think it will provide such good protection, that you will not notice the tinyest difference (if there actually is any) between them. And the Amsoil is almost 3-4x the cost...

Don't neglect the filter! Having a great oil and a lousy filter is just stupid. The filter is what is gonna keep the oil performing as it could/should. Invest in a high quality filter such as the MobileOne performance filter or the Purolator PureOne micronic filter. You should be able to find these at most good auto parts stores for about $6. If you need part number and can't find them (use search and try the internet), I'll give them to you if you PM me...
