Made by CLEAR ALTERNATIVES Part # CTL-0019 Model(s) 98-99 Yamaha YZF-R1 (ORIGINAL UNDERTAILS) Price (as of Eurobikes.com) 119+s/h (im sure u can find them cheaper other places) Price i payed 58.25 shipped with insurance from ebay Quality: The plastic is very clear, not foggy/cloudy. I bought the one with the red cone inserts so i could use my OE bulbs since i dont have LEDs (thats also an option CTL-0019-L). The inserts r removeable. My complaint about them is when the brake lights r on the look light red, maybe even a dark pink. :( The black backing of the housing where it mounts to the bike seems harder than the OE tail light housing. I fear that because of that it may also be more brittle. All seems and joints r great. Rated 8½-9 outa 10 Fit/Finish: Its the exact same dimensions as the OE housing, unbolt the OE one, drop this Clear one in, then put the bike back together. No trimming, no cutting, grinding, glueing ect. Rated 10/10 Complaints: The color of the brake lights, I wished they would be darker, maybe switching to a red bulb would solver that problem. But im happier with my clear tail lights and a pussy red color than with the OE red tail light and a briliant red color. This pic is of an 01 CLE-R1 from eurobikes.com...Plus its for the light with LEDs and not bulbs. Here is whats pasted from Eurobikes.com: These products are the best quality of its kind. This product is made from only high quality ABS plastic on both the clear lenses and housing assemblies. What is used to make the brake light is a special agent to help eliminate and reduce fading. Each housing assembly is chrome plate to help amplify the brightness. All lenses have a redesigned pattern to achieve the white lens and not the see through glass look. No other clear taillight can match this quality and are DOT & SAE approved and it is backed up with a one year warranty. Comes with a clear brake light, and all necessary hardware with option of red inserts, red bulbs or LED bulbs.

They're holding up just fine. No weather cracks, and still clear. However I am still using my OE bulbs, but after a while i got used to the light red. I don't even notice anymore.

Man, you will have to do a search, but there are good colored bulbs out there that have an even more red and bright composition. They aren't the painted ones - they are red colored glass. Last time I saw them, they were about 10 bucks a pop.
