Okie - I love the helmet, but the sizing was a little weird, so it pressed against my forehead REALLY badly when I first got it. It's an XL, so I ordered the XXL pads (cheek and halo) and it fits a lot better now. It's pretty light, not as much wind noise as my KBC, so overall I love it. Plus I get compliments on the helmet all the time, so that's always a plus. The helmet behins it is my girlfriend's Shoei.

That might be a possibility. I do have it dialed in how I like it though. I went out to IMI w/ Rybo (from CSC) and he helped me out, tuning the suspension. Just hate to have to start over again.

I've got about 15k on the bike. Mostly commuting and touring, no track time. The front forks are still at the factory specs. So if you know what you did they would be easy to set up.

Just thought since EVERYONE that has a black 08 has gold forks and EVERYONE that has a Charcoal 07 has black ones it would give a differentiating look to both bikes.

How do you like the Gilles? I'm still up in the air about what rear sets I want. I have long legs, and they aren't chicken legs, so I'll need some adjustable rear sets to I can still be comfortable.

Thank you! I took Hwy 103 from Idaho Springs to the entrance of Mt. Evans and took that road to the top of the mountain. It's a state park, so it was $3 to take the road on a motorcycle. It's paved all the way up. Hwy 103 does a loop from Idaho Springs over to Evergreen.

It's a Nikon D40, cheap, but it does the job. The lens was just the lens that comes w/ the camera, the 18-55mm.

Ohhh, no thanks. I've ridden an R6 w/ one of those and it was hot and LOUD.

I hear you. Even the stock exhaust keeps my seat toasty. It's kind of nice in the cold weather though.

I'm actually planning on getting some carbon fiber covers for it, I honestly hate the chrome look of it, but LOVE the sound. So hopefully that'll happen in the next couple months. :boobies

Where did you get those mirror block offs? Looks like carbon fiber....nice.

And I like the pic in the dark where it looks like your R1 is mean-mugging (reflection makes it look like eyebrows over the headlights).

Little late, but the block offs are from a 2005 R1, so they don't fit quite right. They are just painted carbon fiber.
