I'm not sure what you're asking? If you're looking at the picture that's just a generic picture of the vcr rearsets. It's not the EXACT model for the 07-08 R1. It will look very similiar, but of course fit your bike so it won't be exactly the same. The picture is for reference only.

It looks like there is a picture posted in the very first post of this thread of an 07-08 r1 on the website. I dont see a heel gaurd on the right side of the bike, I imagine it will come with it even though its not pictured.
Are these adjustable at all? Do you have a solid black in stock?? PM the best price on these please, thanks

the yamaha's do not come with the right side heal guard. At this price it's only for gold/black. The black ones are under the menu on the left side of our website under "rearsets". Just this color is the heavy discount. You can buy the right heal guard separately though and we do have them in stock.

For the 07/08, where is the shift lever mounted for this particular set of rearsets? Is the pivot point on the rearsets themselves or is the pivot point bolted to the frame/engine?

dark: i'm not sure what you're asking. aftermarket rearsets don't change the location of where the shaft comes out of the engine and they don't have you drill into the side of the bike to create a new mounting bolt for a shift lever. They utilize the same as oem for what I think you're asking?
If you're trying to see if these will work on the 04-06 they will not :(

No. I've seen an individual with rear sets (looks similar to the picture you have of the mounted VCR) where the lever (not the rod, not the input shaft) pivots on a bolt mounted to either the frame or the engine, it does not pivot off the rearset.
My question is, does the shift lever for the VCR rearsets pivot/mount from the actual rearsets (like oem) or is it mounted somewhere else?
Why would they not work on an 04-06 (the rear MC is different, that I know)?
*edit*
Now that I looked at it, the picture on your site is indeed from an R1, so yes, the lever does not mount/pivot from the rearset.
