Midwest Squadron Guys/Gals Get in Here!!!!!

Alright guys/gals we've had alot of people say they want to do the squadron thing in the Midwest (myself included) but we haven't got it moving. In the logo thread that has been going, Our1 has volunteered to be the C/O. I think if we can get somebody to organize us, we'll be off and running and there is nobody better to do that than somebody that volunteers. I also volunteer to help organize the Midwest as much as Our1 needs. I have photoshop and will start working on a few logo possibilities to get the ideas coming from you guys. Let's do this people it is a good chance to get together with other riders in your area. I live in an town with 10-15 sportbikes tops, and would definitely be willing to travel to hook up for some good riding and :beer So vote on the poll and let us know who you are and what state your in, ideas for logos. Give us input, please. Voting closes in one week, 20 Feb, so everybody has a chance to log on.

Could you define the Midwest region for me?

Sure, I'll give it a shot, but No. 6 needs to verify this for me.... North Dakota South Dakota Minnesota Michigan Iowa Indiana Kansas Nebraska Wisconsin This is oof the top of my head, anybody think of others?

Sorry forgot our biggest one... Illinois I'm sure the Chicago crowd will make up the majority of this squadron.

Just taking a look at the huge list of states I just came up with, geographic distance may become a problem here. We may need to divide this up into two separate squadrons. Maybe something like "North Central" and "Midwest"......I don't know just ideas. No. 6, I think we need your all-powerful, Squadron God guidance.:hellobye

That looks to be about right for the states in your region. Each state should have it's own representative(s)/leader(s) who will be willing to tackle organizing things for their individual state. You may choose to do some localization of your insignia, like R1-012-IL for example. Keep up the good work R1pilot! So far, you've both got my vote for what it's worth. I have been crazy busy at my job, or I'd be helping you guys out more with a logo.

according to the squadron assingments the MidWest squadron dosn't have states like north/south dakota in it and ohio should be in there too unless somting changed that i don't know about?.:confused:

Beats me....I'm just trying to get something started... Add Ohio to the list, that why I asked for people to chime in.... Now as far as North Dakota and South Dakota not being on the list, what do you expect us to do? And when I say "us", I really just mean me. I haven't seen any other members from either of those states besides me. :confused:

Guess what ND is in the plains. Of course our brillant moderate needs to look at a map. Where is Michigan? I guess it is one of a kind - it doesn't belong anywhere.:butt

I really like the Dakota's, especially SD.
