Only 8 days left until we head south to Deal's Gap... I'm expecting about 2900 miles in about 10 days, an average of about 300 backroad twisty miles per day. We're planning to hotel/camp roughly 50/50. We reserved a nice cabin (with a hot tub!) in Cherokee, NC when we spend 3 nights there. I'm hoping to try my luck at the local casino too. And lots and lots and lots of BBQ joints along the way... Can't wait! :fact
