ive got a vanson csrx fits great and quality is top notch. 600 us$ a little expensive but its worth it imo.think of the cost of going down w/out one.:rock

Got a Vanson Cobra With full armor About $700 worth every penny.

That's a lot of money. But you need to ask yourself this question. Is your skin worth the price of a leather jacket, or more?

I paid $320 (my discount price) for a HJC leather jacket.

That's the normal price for Alpinestar jackets in AUS.. so don't feel ripped off. All the retailers sell them for the same price - no one discounts unless you know a staff member.

I get my gear from Action Motorcylces in Sydney, they tend to knock off 5-10% of retail price cause im a regular.

You probably should have bought a full two peice suit for $1600.. better value in my opinion.

If you compare the other cheaper brands like spidi, Collins, TigerAngel etc, you'll see that Dainese and Alpinestar are WAY ahead of the rest in terms of fit and quality.

Used to ride without one. And as soon I got my Alpinestars P1 Jacket I took a fall. I was so glad I had the jacket on. Its worth every $ I paid and would not ride without it.

My old leather jacket was about 1000 sizes too big and blew me all over the place at speed above 150 kmh time for some decent gloves next. Here what it looks like....

Nice Jacket, its a shame no friggin jacket will fit my long body... its either to short or to tight...

it drives me crazy!!!!

Why the hell don't the stupid manufactures make bigger sizes, yeah of course there are some jackets that fit kinda ok, but they look like crap...

So i wear Dainese Body Armour.

Yes leather is worth it's wieght in gold, if you go down without it you'll wished you would have spend money on it.

I dont know about the Alpinestars Dyno leather jacket but to me it does seem a little excessive. My Dianese jacket was around $650-700. And the matching Dianese pants are around $750, so it's still about $1400.

But $900 does seem excessive, maybe you guys in the East pay more then us guys in the West.
