I got off my R6 a couple years ago, doing 90 or so, and rolled 150 feet...only had some scrapped knees and a broken hand! Then smashed directly into the side of a Ford Excursion with little more than some sore ribs!

1998 R1's (there are 2 of them - one for him and her). Completely carbon fiber bodywork and other bits, just painted the blue in) - they weigh about 350lbs wet (this is a 1998 remember). Can't remember if this one had the specially built Harris swingarm or the world superbike swingarm. There is alot more about them that I can't rember right now...Rey gave me alot of info - such a cool dude.

They also have the front rim from the only set of fully carbon fiber Marchesini wheels ever made. That entire wheel felt like it weighed about the same as a 12 oz can of beer.

Your bike must have caught some weird disease from streetjester's bike falling into yours; your bike has fallen off of stands ever since.

I know... It's when I take it off the stand. I always seem to park on uneven ground and it slightly pushes up the kickstand without me knowing it until it's too late when I take it off the stand. 2010 is the last year this will happen I tell ya...

Thanks Jason. This had to be one of the best Conventions for me. I really had nothing planned and just "Winged it" this year. It was very relaxing and I loved riding in those cool mountains. I had to come back to near 100 degrees and 100 percent humidity. The first week back to work sucked big time since I work outdoors. Looking forward to next year already with the gang.

I'd like to ask that you take a look at photos they shot of you and consider buying a few. They operate on a pretty slim survival margin and right now, it's just surviving for them.

Take a moment and order your best pic or two (or more) if you can. It would really make a difference. We'd discussed the possibility of a special package for this year, but they just aren't able to swing it right now. So if you could support them by buying your best shot from them it would make all the difference in the world. Please do be sure to let them know you are a Convention attendee when you order.

Oh I definitely plan on purchasing a few. I think I've got a couple picked out from Moonshine on the Skyway that Sunday, the 13th. But I have yet to seriously dig through the other photogs offerings yet...stupid work and bike nights gettin' in the way! :lol

I bought some a couple years ago when I was up there, coincidentally at the same time the Convention was going on but I didn't partake ( :dundun: ). I hear you Steve. I could use a Skyway run about now. This year was one of the best for me. Very low keyed and enjoyable for sure. Had a blast. Count me in for next year too.
