I searched and didn't find much. I sold my last set of stands and I'm currently looking into buying another set. What's your guys thoughts on stem stands? I want to start doing my own fork work so thought about just getting the stem stand right away. Which brands are better and is there any disadvantage to just have the stem or should I have a fork stand also? Thanks

I use the fork stand MUCH more than the steering stem stand. It is nice to just have the option to go with the steering stem stand when I need to (rarely).

awesome. its ordered also got a rear stand. that solves my problem. i didnt want to buy a fork lift then later on have to buy a separate stem lift. thanks

i hate them stands...unless u gotta do fork work i dont see a point in having 1

I'd rather have a stem stand....work way easier and much more stable than the standard fork stands from what I can tell.

I agree... the stem stand is much more stable and just as fast to mount to your bike once you get the hang of it. :fact

Only place I like the fork lift stands is at the track...at home I'd always use the stem mount
