can someone please stnad up and be the current leader in this squad, all other squads got stickers , shirts, pathches, we're still looking for a name, it gives the LA folks a bad name, it makes up look like we're bunch of self oriented, fake boobed, all talk, ...... wait a minute, we're kinda like that. oh well, i voted for dragons cause i have a tattoo of a dragon on my shoulder!!! that way i can say i got it for r1-forum!!

As I said on the other thread, I was hoping we could find a better name than Dragons or Black Knights. If we choose Black Knights, we'll be forever associated with the Biker Boyz movie. Dragons just seems played out, but I guess I'll be okay with it if that's what everyone wants. It's just that all the other squadrons seems to have nice uncommon names. BRB jackson is fine with me, i've met him once as we were riding through mulholland, i wouldn't mine another name either, i tought our choices were only 2, and now that you mentioned the biker boys, there is no way i'd put a black night sticker on my bike!! i vote for brbjackson, and if you guys wanna come up with names, go for it maybe wolverines canyon whores! jaguars or dragons, with a cool logo, so let's get photoshop guys together too i aslo know a guy that's doing patches for me for my bike club, he'll do 100 patches for 300 bucks, here is the design of the patches he is doing for Suicide Kings Racing:

What about this dragon (posted on Swedie's original thread about our squadron)? Too complex for patches/stickers? Looks sweet anyway...

Here's what the patch would look like... obviously it wouldn't say 'Wolf Pack', and it'd be squadron 014, but my Photoshop skilz aren't good enough to change it.

I vote for Dragons but it is up to the majority. I've got dragons on my helmet, born the year of the dragon......kinda got a thing with dragons

Hmmm, how about an inverted version of the Dragon? Yes, I know it still doesn't say "Dragons"... I don't have the right font, and am a Photochop 'tard :confused: The bottom line is that we need to get going on this. Sam is right, a lot of the territory this squadron covers is STILL riding almost every weekend, but we haven't even picked a name/image :fact . If it speeds things up, I'll take the reigns as leader (at least for now), but if any of you have names or emails for the rest of the group, get them to post on this thread, so we can get going :jump !!

i also think this is a great pic that guia made, simple but cool, the tuning forks in the back are awsome ps. are you going to bike night tonight?

I really like Guia's design, but the two tones (tuning forks and dragon) might be tough to pull off cleanly on an embroidered patch. No bike night for me, Sam. I've got to get some things done, but maybe next week. I'll PM you a cell #... OK, one more version of the dragon :confused:

BRBJackson is good to go for CO, We need to do somethings for us OC/SD guys that don't necessarily like to ride up to LA on a weeknight. My wife is friends with the owner of Dragon Optical. Maybe they could "sponsor" us.

i talked to a couple of guys for t shirts and patches, i can get patches done for leathers and jackets, the t shirt guy, i havn't sat down and talked seriously with, but it'll go through soon, i also know a guy for stickers, but last i went with him for sticker work, it became a bit expensive, so i have to see take care sam

yeah i know a guy who can make some shirts for us, or pretty much do any silk screening for like a doller over cost per shirt, or at least he did. once we get a name and design, ill be in contact with him.

A riding bud of mine is in the sticker business, so I'll check with him for pricing and such. I think we're actually pulling this thing together :rock

I went with Dragons just because I've had a fascination with dragons since I was a kid, and I plan on getting a dragon tattoo and other dragon stuff. I still like the Black Knights though, I've kinda got a thing for knights too, just think they're badass. I don't care if other people tried to associate a real motorcycle club with one in a movie, it's just a movie, so what. Both names sound cool to me and both of those signia's look badass. If people don't like those, what about Knight Riders ( I know, I know.... it's a name for a show... whoopdeedoo... same mentality for the Biker Boyz/ Black Knights thing applies here). I don't know, just throwing some ideas out here.

BRB Jackson are we doing this? i say by the way the vote is going, we are the DRAGONS, now, lets pic an easy black and white (no grey) logo, and do this... i talked to my guy for patches, it'll cost around 350 for 100 patches, around 5" each... so, now let's just put up some designs, and vote on them also, i found a guy for t shirts (blanks) lets see if anyone local knows a good screenprinter

i would be Happy no matter which one you choose :)

BRB Jackson are we doing this? Sam, Ronin has a poll going on to select dragon graphics, and once a winner has been picked, I'll take it to my sticker place and get a quote. BTW, the same guy does T-shirts too, so along with your patch contact, I think we're covered. This might actually be happening :fact

It reminds me of those little raver kids with the shinny litte shirts with dragons and other asian designs on them.

Just an idea but what about a name that pertains to the west/southwest region such as The Rattlers or Sandsharks or Horny Toads or Dust Devils or something along those lines......

I'm guessing it's Dragons now? I'm coming into this game late, but looking at the previous posts in the forum anyway. :) I don't mind any name I guess, however, I admit I like Dragons (creatures or the name) anyway. I'm working on buying the Duhamel (spelling?) Shoei helmet because of the dragon on it...so I guess it kind of fits, eh? :)

man does everyone live in so cal anything for nor cal people going on? so mabe we don't have to be the dragons we could be like dragonfire or the dragon's fire or some crap dragons cool with me becuase i am pretty uncreative in the name department and I like guia design best it works maybe the 2 tone won't work but keep the tuning forks somewhere i like sidewinders better than sandsharks every animal name been used somewhere before anyway

Could be the "R1 Spank the Monkeys" Hehehe..TOTALLY KIDDING. But I'll bet it probably hasn't been used for a name! :p
