Hi All,

I am really new at Supermoto, and have just made myself of a 300 USD '92 XR250. I know this bike lacks a lot of power, but at that price... could not let it pass...

I've seen lots of wheel conversion threads, but don't know if they really apply to this bike, as it is so old. Has anyone made this conversion before?

The first things I want to modify, is making it street legal (blinkers, tag holder, mirrors...). I know Baja Designs make some really powerful headlight conversions. Are they really worth the $$?


Any idea of the things I will need? What is the widest rim/tire combo I can run? Could some gearing changes help me on throttle response?
