The Wolfpack, forum and friends

I just wanted to take a second to show my appreciation to the members of the squad and the forum in general. Two seasons ago I was more of a R1 "gypsy" just riding by myself from town to town on the weekend throwing out a subtle wave or nod as others rode by me. I missed last season due to the theft of my 1. In the time I had to sit and stew about losing my bike I stumbled across the forum. And the pack. Its a good feeling to get to know new people and others who are as into bikes as I am. Refreshing to say the least. I knew at the last big meet that things in this group were different from others I had previously attempted to kick it with.:fact In my opinion the other groups are mostly younger fellows with lots to learn about "group ediquette" and with more of a personal goal on the ride rather than enjoying the "group" aspect. It kind of took the fun out of the ride when I was worried about my safety. The wolfpack is not like that in the least bit. It seems most of you guys are just mellow, good spirited, friendly motorcycle enthusiasts who like to share stories and talk two wheels. Isnt that what the sport is all about? I think so. I was astonished and impressed when Terry let a few guys hop on his 1 and roll it around the parking lot to try out that new seat.:D That said a lot about the spirit of the group. Very impressive. I have already met some good people and guys I can call friends this season. Trey, Adam, Jason, Todd, Zorgen( sorry about the close shave) kai, and Terry. I have forgotten a lot of the names due to the large group that day. I'll get them all down in time. Thanks Wolfpack for the fun, friendships and great spirit of the pack!!!:crash

Hey UnknownPharoah, I do agree with what you are saying specially when it comes to helping out one another with doing something on the bike or what have you. However one thing I will comment on is that the first ride, there was only about 8 people that are offically part of the pack. The rest are either lurkers or from other areas. While I do enjoy spirited rides most of the time specially in the right area's I think one thing that we have going for ourselves is that we do pick the time and the right place to do things that 'the man' doesn't appriciate. I look forward to burning many gallones of Non-imported oil with everyone and learning a few new roads as well as learning how to corner better, and not through's TidBit's experiance.

Guys....if we get our website with more content and other stuff we can dwarf NWSB if we wanted. If the load get's to be to much for my system AdamGeek can host. Just need someone that can do a smoking website.

I couldnt agree more Josh...... This is a great group and dont get me wrong.... i may wheelie from time to time but im not no crazy rider..... i love the nice quiet ride through some twisties and not pressing the limits of the ONE. Lets keep the meets small with the ocasional GROUP and i think we will be ok.... i have many SWEET roads to share down South here and I am very excited to see New ones from you North guys.... gonna be a great year..... Also its very nice to meet some other ONE guys instead of all my buds that ride those OTHER bikes :) freakin gixxers :)

Yea Trey, kind of like that guy that was 1 hr late....man the Gixxer dudes got no respect for The One drivers.

I agree, didn't really ruin my day besides I didn't want to ride hard with my new gf...need to break her in slow so she doesn't scream so loud. As far as a Track day there are some days listed on the wolfpacksquadron.com website. I'm thinking April 11 may be a good day to start.

lol The Wolfpack is definitely a great group of guys, helpful and generous to a fault. No big egos out here. Everyone just wants to have a good time. I look forward to the summer and helping peeps with their mods. Kai, give me a jingle when you start putting your bike back together. I can head up with Patrick's dremmel and we can start rounding off all those nasty sharp edges on your bike.

Actually.. I'll be ordering the parts next week.. doing my entire install then... dussault/tail/nose/ so on... It'll be a busy week for me.. I got a dremel too.. :finger as for the r1 offer from craig.. told ya guys he'd never trust me on the duck.. :fact if it's really nice out.. then i just might have to take you up on that offer craig.. ;)

I have only let one person ride it so far. He is Bellevue PD's top motorcycle officer. Once I get to ride with people and know there capabilities, I will let you guys ride it. They are kind of hard to explain, once you own one you never want to not have one. They are not the fastest, but they will probable make you ride faster because they instill so much more confidence in the corners :D See you guys Sunday

Hi guys, Saw that some of you will be attending the Daytona 200 event this Sunday. I look forward to meeting you. STR will be showing up in force probably around 30-50 bikes. My bike is still getting the exhaust modified, so I'll have to drive :(

I think I have ridden with him, but I will have to check. When do you meet with him. If you want to PM me and let me know what it is for I can talk to my buddy when he gets back in town on Monday and see if I can help you out. I do a ride every year over to Wintrop and spend the night there, then come back over Highway 2. Most of them are cops or firefigters

It's nothin serious...There have been reports of me weaving in and out of traffic and speeding in the school parking lot before school. Well, the traffic is STOPPED, and there is room to go by on the side, and its a parking lot, so I think its legal. And I keep it under 10, but it must look like im speeding since I keep it in first gear and they are stopped. I still have to set up a meeting with him...I haven't been able to contact him yet.
