I heard that one of top olhins suspension technician says that the best wheel base for the 07/08 r1 is between 635 and 640 (this is measured from the centre of the swing arm pivot and the centre of the axle). This is done by either or adding a link or changing sprockets
I know someone that has tried it and he swears by it.

Thought it would be good to share this info. If anyone has tried it please post up and tell me what you think as I am waiting on my bike back, before I can try it.

Also he rcommends standard ride hight at the rear.
