tidbit 03-04-2003, 08:53 PM velo.. what kit is that you fool!!
tidbit 03-04-2003, 08:54 PM and what hanger...
unknownpharoah 03-04-2003, 09:06 PM can you powdercoat exhaust cans? If you can.. I'd go black
tidbit 03-04-2003, 09:13 PM not reccomended to powdercoat.. that's why i'll be using that one paint.. made for the high temps a pipe gets up too...
as for the cans.. i'll have to tear the pipe down.. and paint the rivits/caps... Velo.. what did you use? do did you just powdercoat?
unknownpharoah 03-04-2003, 09:28 PM I just called my buddy on the Nextel. He said he will powdercoat your can for 50bucks. Just trying to help ya out. He said it wouldnt be a big deal. If you want it a "glossy" black that might cost more. It depends on if he has the Ultra clear hard powder. LMK:hellobye
tidbit 03-04-2003, 09:37 PM can he do my mid pipe?
tidbit 03-04-2003, 09:39 PM if that includes the mid pipe.. it's a deal.. where do i send it.. :thumbup... btw i'm a fan of the flat black.. (as long as it's close to matching the frame)
unknownpharoah 03-04-2003, 09:49 PM If you take it apart he can probablly do it. His kiln isnt huge. You dont have to send it anywhere dude. Just meet up with me and I"ll give it to him. He said the sandblasting will take the longest. He can have it done in a day from what he says. He is a good friend of mine so I trust him. I have seen some of the wheels and car parts he has done and they look sweet. This will be the first Exhaust can. LMK if you are still interested.
tidbit 03-04-2003, 10:13 PM yah... i def am.. i'll tear apart the can tomorrow.. :thumbup

tidbit 03-04-2003, 10:24 PM any of you guys know how to take apart a can.. like seperate the parts? packing, rivits, end caps.. so on

unknownpharoah 03-05-2003, 05:09 PM I take it back. I talked to the guy. He said he has done a few exhausts for dirtbikes for friends of his. He said pop out the rivets and replace them with alan head screws? IF anyone else wants any stuff powder coated like wheels and stuff like that. Just let me know. I'll hook my forum brothers up. :fact
tidbit 03-05-2003, 05:11 PM If only i knew how to do this..... I'll take a shot at it tomorrow.. call me on where i can drop her off.. :thumbup (wolfpack webby)
unknownpharoah 03-05-2003, 05:25 PM I just saw the contact info on the wolfpack page. Let me know when you get it torn down. We can go from there. No reason to put the cart before the horse. From what he said You just need to take off anything you dont want sandblasted and painted. I'm assuming that means the Decal.
velocityboy 03-05-2003, 05:32 PM All I know is the powder I used is hi-temp...resistant up to 1200 degrees......
tidbit 03-06-2003, 01:11 PM josh tell me when i can drop this shiznit off.. ima call you :P
