I finally got my AGV yesterday. I bought it off ebay, new for $195 + $35 for a 50% tinted shield. Pretty good deal on over a $350 helmet:) I was a bit skeptical at first because I have never owned an AGV. But, this helmet is top notch quality. Fit and finish is great. It came w/ tear off posts on both shields and a set of 10 tear off's (that I prolly wont use:)) I would highly recommend an AGV. I will warn you, get the lid one size bigger than you think you wear. I got a M/L because I wear a medium in an HJC and the AGV is a bit snug, but it will conform and I was afraid if I went larger it would be a bit too big. I can't ride yet to give a full review of it because the weather sux ass here right now, but I just thought I would throw this out because some people were asking helmet opinions and options. :hellobye

I got the same Lavilla lid... AGVs come in many sizes and their top of the line lids kick some serious tail... I had the older Q3R replica of Gobert and that was a great lid as well... The only problems is trying to find a deal on a new visor for it on ebay! For some reason you can get a great deal on the Lavilla's and McKenzies on ebay but the Rossi's will cost you an arm and a leg... Yut

This lid rox. I finally got out on my bike the past couple days. The AGV is 5x better than my previous HJC. HJC makes a decent lid, but nothing like this and the HJC I had was the top of line 3 years ago... I did some high speed runs and its quiet and comfortable. Good air flow and Ive had nothing but compliments about it...:rock

I got the same one on eBay can't beat that price. I had a HJC before and that was a pos. The x-vent is much much quieter. Sucks that you can't wear it yet man been about 80 out here this week. But overall I have been wearing mine since about Feb and like it. I haven't really seen too much else that goes well with the red R1 but this one is pretty close. It's no Arai RX but it certainly will do and then some. Jet

Does the ebayer you bought it from sell them all the time? If so..what is their name. I have an AGV now...about 8 years old and need to upgrade. I love the look of that helmet, but does that ugly AGV sticker in the front come off? Not sure why they did that...great looking helmet and then this sticker in the middle of it all. :boobies I love women

Yeah I bought mine too from coffeehour. He ships quick. Comes with some tearoffs, bag, and all the manuals. Shoot him an email he sell you one cheaper than what he got em for on his auction I think I paid 165 or something for mine.

Just received my all silver AGV x-vent from EBAY (dktrader). X-lg is a little snug (definitely go up a size when ordering). I would normally take a large (or maybe my head just got a bit bigger since I bought my R1:D . I paid $140 plus $6 in freight for this brand new helmet. It took about a week to get. It is very comfortable & I would reccomend it to anyone- especially for this price.
