ebay Currently on e-bay there are about 5 TZ1's. I saw a listing for $209.00 with a few different colors to pick from. It is Ebay Auction No. 2409368425.

decent middle of the road helmet. probably a slight step up from the HJC. kinda heavy, vent system passable, shield system somewhat crappy but useable.... all in all a good serviceable helmet that will prob last for years and protect the melon fine in case of an accident.

Originally posted by BMWV12 whats the best helmet? That depends on who you ask...... My personal preference is the Arai helmets. However other do prefer Shoei over Arai, and others prefer Suomy, so its all about personal preference. That being said. All manufacturers make different grades of helmets. As you move up in grade, you will move up in price as well as in features. the better helmets are made of stronger, lighter, more resiliant materials, have better sheild change mechanisms as well as better sheilds, have adjustable / removable liners and cheekpads, better finish and higher end graphics. Think of this small example. Imagine wearing a helmet that weighs just 1.5 pounds less than another. Hold a 5 pound weight in one hand with your arm outstretched, palm facing up. Now do the same in the other hand but hold 3.5 pounds in it. After how many minutes do you find your hand with the heavier weight slowly dropping? Now imagine the same thing on your head. Big difference after only a short amount of time.........:fact Another thing to keep in mind, people have different shaped heads as well as different sized heads. This means that different brands of helmets will fit people with the same size head differently due to head shape. A properly fitted helmet will feel worlds better than an improperly fitted one, and since it is more comfortable, will tend to be worn more as well. :thumbup
