Leather pants question...

Ok guys, I need some help. I have been looking into full suits, but decided that all I really need is a pair of pants with pucks. I have a Dainese Tatoo jacket, but I do not want to spend $450 for a pair of Dainese pants to go with the jacket. Not for something I will only use a few times a year. So, I am looking at the Alpinestars Track pants in black. My question is... Can I make these work with my jacket. Some people have told me to just get a new zipper for the jacket that will match the pants and other say dont do it at all. I would think I could have someone sew a new zipper on if the zippers dont match and I should have no problems.. Any ideas.. Thanks

IMO, you should first try to see if you can find some good Dainese deals on Ebay or something... :)

Ive been looking. The P217 Dainese pants are not easy to come across. I think the last pair that were on ebay sold for $400:confused: I'll keep checkin...

$400? Hmm... how about this option, why don't you get the Dainese Luce 2-piece suit at the Dainese Outlet(www.motorace.com) for $495. Then just sell the jacket which is new, motorace.com sell that jacket alone for $295. Even if you sold it for $250, your pants will only cost you $245, brand new too. By the way, the Luce suit is good because the color is all black. Well, for $495, motorace.com also has the Aero and Brave suits, which comes in different colors. Well, I think maybe Aero will be your only other choice, cause they have it in black/grey.
