Favorite 'race' boot, $200 range.

OK, so here's the story. I'm picking up a pair of real boots. I'm sure you call encourage this. I am currently considering Sidi Vertebra II ($230?) and AlpineStar SMX (about the same). I'm looking for something with good ankle support, decent ankle and toe armor, something not too stiff in the front-edge of the ankle (something that still has -good- feel when shifting and braking), something with a replaceable toe slider, and something which would both look presentable, and still feel alright walking around a -lot-. I don't do track days, so this would be just a general purpose protection boot which I would like to be able to wear comfortably in almost any riding situation so that they'll serve me the best. So what's your favorite boot for near 200? $285 is too expensive.

I voted Vert2's cuz thats what i just bought, but they havnt come in the mail yet :( They have all kinds of ankle stuff, and removeable sliders (thats why i got them)

Sidi's or Oxtar. Have had the Verts for a year, great quality.
