Hello everyone i have a few parts for sale. I purchased a recked 02 R1 for the motor cause i blew up my own. The bike came with a certificate of destruction title. I have a 99 R1 and as i was putting the motor in my frame ive notice a few things that was different from the 98-01 and 02-03 model. The cylinder head is different, 1 of the motor mount bolt do not line up (see pic) and it will not work with the Flat Slide Carbs I have, the alighnment is completly different and I do not want to go FI ( in my opinion Flat Slide Crabs are better then FI) so im going to sale all the stuff i have, so if you want to convert your Carb bike to FI or if you have a 02-03 and need some parts. 98-01 forks was just a set i had laying around because i purchased a extra set to get powder coated

No im selling just the head. Im taking the 02 head off and putting a 99 head on

From the tank and frame damage it looks like the bike was hit in the front end. Do you know that the forks are straight?

from the looks of them they are str8. i stood them up and pressed on them and they seem to fuction normally. i talk to the guy i purchased everything from and he said he lost control coming down off a wheelie
