i think ive written already something about this once......

i got the following problem.

i got nearly all codecs that exist....xvid, divx, nimo shit....

damn, i hate to ask you guys. this is some retarded shit.

i got the movie "the ring" in 2x700mb dvd quality (xvid).

wow, the quality is perfect but NO SOUND ! damn.....

should i reset my HDD to get rid of all codecs ??? is there a player or something that can give me sound ??? :cryin hellppp !!! argh.

if you have experienced something like this before, pls help me....

every movie works fine but NOT this one !!!!

there could also be no audio track on the mpg.. :fact sometimes they do that just to mess wif ya ;)

Find a program called "Gspot" in Kaza or directconnect. This program will help U to C wich codecs you are missing.

btw: yeah "they're" messing with you.....nearly every game i downloaded wont work or it just wasnt the "original" game.....dont download games from kazaa ! BUT: i downloaded HITMAN2, damn. awesome game....!

Almost...Get Power DVD. Great softwear and it supports alot of formats. Plus it has built-in sound features that makes wonders with two-way speaker (tru-surroundTX and other)

If you're using Windows Media Player to play the movies, I would suggest trying a different player. many times that will work. A quick search on the net should yield an abundance of shareware\freeware programs to try.
