If you go to the track, you HAVE to try these out. I ran Soft rear and Supersoft front. I dropped 3 to 4 seconds off of my previous best lap time. Awesome.

I too run the Dragon slicks. They seem to hold up to anything I can throw at them. 120/190. frnt ss/rr soft. blue/green combo. Don't give as much feedback through the front end as my MichH2. Most likely because of one being a hard compound and the other being a super soft.

I got a used pair of my friend for track day. Not slick but race compound, and all day long not a tire out of place. The only thing I noticed was after they put them on the rim the tire was heaver than I remember when I droped them off.

:confused KneeDragger77 and Y2KYZF: I use the SuperCorsa SC2s for my track days and love them on my 2000 R1. I would really like to try a pair of the Pirelli slicks but can't find anyone who sells them. Where did you guys get them???

best way to get slicks is a trackside vender when your at a race or trackday . The only thing bad about slicks is when they go out on you the really go , dot race is better after a few heat cycles . h2's if your only a track day rider

I happen to be friends with the Pirelli distributer/vendor for the midwest region. Not to mention one fast sombitch. He sells me his race scuffs. I call him a couple of weeks before I need them, then he sets his best ones aside for me. They look almost brand new as far as tread depth. That's the only way to get good quality slicks w/o a racing license.
