who's riding?

Hey guys just wondering who's been out riding so far this spring and what the local roads are like. I'm taking mine out for a ride today. I have to drop it in Omemee to have the forks done:( . should have done it months ago. its a little chilly today but damn I can't wait to ride.

I took a day off work today to ride. :rock I did some service roads and ramps, they're clean but boring. Snake Rd is clean, I haven't ventured up to Campbellville or 507/14 yet. Still too cold to go riding outside of Toronto. Got my right side scuffed in but my left side is all shiny (no real left handers around here, lol).

I've been riding since the 16th - damn it feels good!:p Powerslides are easy and predictable with cold tires and pavement - no highside worries. Changing to wheelie practice as temperatures rise:p I might even have to "scout" the route for the June ride if we get a really warm day.:D

I lofted my front wheel pretty high and scared the bejeebus out of me. I always ride with the fast group on track days but can't ride a wheelie to save my life! We've gotta hook up and you can show this old timer a thing or two. ;)

Where in Toronto? Are you going to the June 7th-8th R1 ride? If you aren't too far in the big clusterf%#k called Toronto traffic, we could hook up easy.

Yep, somewhere in the Toronto Area thread I said that I was coming... still sketchy on the details. I am heading down to Deal's Gap with Jimsab in May so I'll be able to chat with him about the June ride. :p Cheers, David

Ah man, I just took a peek at a map and you're on the other side of Toronto, lol! That's far, hehe! I work downtown and live on the west side... I guess it'll be a little tougher hooking up.

Don't worry boys June isn't that far away. I made it to omemee by 5. damn it was cold, now I don't want to hear any talk about riding till I get her back in 2 weeks:cryin

I started my bike on friday for the first time.... Time to bring it home... now that school is done....

ps.... what about our squadrons name??? i still like the "redliners" red for canadian flag... red for blasting the r1 into the red zone!!!! hahahaha
