Just thought that if anyone has some nice twisties in Western Canada they hadn't heard of before they can post the location here for others to enjoy. I have ridden many of our roads but not all. Hwy 31A in Kaslo I found last year as a great road that I have never been on before. The DestinationHighways list is pretty good, but there's one or two that I don't agree with. :iamwithst Even local roads in the city areas that are enjoyed by riders let everyone know about. :yesnod

Colwood > Kangaroo > Gillespie > Jordan River > Port Renfrew > and back Sounds good I did the Jordan River / Port Renfrew road for the first time last summer when I went to a friends place in Sooke. It was terrific until the pavement got all chunky, but I don’t know the Colwood - Gillespie part. Originally posted by "bertyzfr1" I wanna try to Sea to Sky trip... Lotsa traffic and cops these days, but still a kick-ass ride with awesome scenery. I have no idea how many times I’ve been on the Sea2Sky but it’s plenty. I remember one day last year riding from Vancouver to Whistler I forgot my keys so I came back to get them hahahaha up, back, up, back. I think I’ll forget my keys more often. :) Went the other day to the roads down by Belcarra / Bedwell Park out Ioco Rd. in Port Moody haven’t gone out there for a while almost forgot how twisty they were. Good local ride if you can’t make it too far out of the city.

I've ridden both routes Bert and they are both really nice. The Island route has a lot less traffic though. We should setup a ride up the Sea to Sky through Whistler, Pemberton, Lilooet, and Merrit and then back down. Kinda long but well worth it.

Nobody's given me the address yet but if it's in Cloverdale, I'm 15 mins away at the very most. I have to work until 3 or 4 so I will be late if you guys are still gonna be around there at that time.

[QUOTE]Originally posted by "bertyzfr1" [B]ohhh man!! come out to Victoria I got a route that is like 200km long of twisties... Dude, when I'm finally rolling, we'll have to hook up for a buzz... I'm living in Highlands, and of course the #1 road I know of is Millstream/Munn Road... They've paved that thing beautifully on the Highlands side (Saanich side needs work)... but watch out... I saw a highlands district newsletter warning residents to watch out for the bad motorcycle riders, and to write down all details about what you see and dime the five-0. (I'm just waiting to get my inspection/VIN, probably next week, and I'll be riding All The Time, so I'll drop you a line when I'm ready...) Oh, and a bunch of guys from work (Costco) are doing a ride to Tofino on the May long weekend if you're interested.

I was out in Chilliwack yesterday and went around Ryder Lake. Man those are some twisty roads. :D The pavement & gravel kinda sucked but the zero traffic and tight zigzags were sweet. I also went to Cultas which is always kinda fun.
