I am looking for frame sliders for my 2000 r1. I like the Lock Heart Phillips sliders that have the carbon fiber look. any body got some feed back on those slider and whether or not that brand makes quality sliders? I also heard the bolts on the sliders are a big issue, do they come with a good bolt if not where could i get a good bolt?

I would just go with the Intuitive Fame Sliders. Those are the ones I have, and I have heard nothing but good things about them. (Fortunately, I have never had to crash-test them) As for the look......I didn't know frame sliders were supposed to "look good." :lol
The Intuitive sliders on my bike can be seen in the attached picture.....(you may have to squint a bit) Oh, make sure you get the clutch sliders too!!

I have "Crash tested" all KINDS of sliders... and honestly found that you do get what you pay for in sliders... Intuitive has held up best... just my opinion, it may have been just they way I crashed that made the others seem weak or shitty...
But, I've always had leass damage to the actual sliders themselves also with intuitve, such as snapping bolts, or the plastic doubling over, or caving in etc....

Anyone knows what size of bolts came with Intuitive Frame Sliders for '03 R1? I am trying to replace them with titanium bolts.

Stock R1 bolts are 10mm X 1.25 pitch and are 40 mm long. The bolts in your frame sliders would probably be around 60 - 70 mm long as the have to go through the slider insert. It's easy to pull them out one at a time and measure the length.
Measure from UNDER the head of the bolt to the end. Okay to measure in inches as it's easy enough to convert.
I use a couple of different length bolts in the sliders that I make, I'll attach a pic of the 80mm bolt for your reference.

Yo Erache,
Are they 10X1.25 or 10X1.50?
Cause the pic that you posted stated that the bolt size are 10X1.50. Look in the lower right corner.

It's a old drawing, I included for the length. But thanks - I'll change the pitch on theh drawing.
The stockers are 10mm in diameter by 1.25 pitch.

if your bike is a 98-01 you may have to drill a hole in your fairings. I prefer the www.graphicartmotodesign.com sliders. they dont require putting a hole in your plastic
