Let me know what you think good or bad!!!!!!:crash SHREDDER 04-06-2003, 11:27 AM I just purchased one for my 02 R1 and I can say that, as always, the build quality is OUTSTANDING and the look is awesome. I had on on my old 99 900RR and I loved the sound and quality of the pipe so it was only natural to buy one. Plus, for me, the down pipe design is important and the bends on the Leo are just right instead of that odd angle crap some others have. Leo is up there with Akro in quality and the value is far better. The sound is deep and throatyier than most other pipes Ive heard. Killer stuff man. :rock You wont be disappointed.:jump Thmpr52 05-01-2003, 05:33 PM Hey Shredder did u get a full or slip on Leo and was it a high mount? Just wondering cause I'm shoppin for one as well soon and wondered if it the headers on the 03R1 are good enough or the full system would do it better?
Thx :lol SHREDDER 05-03-2003, 09:19 AM I got the carbon slip on. It rocks. It is very easy to install and does not require all the B.S. associated with the headers and etc. You can feel a pick up in power and the sound is not too loud but is really deep. If you want a full system, I recomend talking to someone who has use it because the removal of teh exup and the work associated with it casues the throttle response and mid throttle low throttle to SUCK.. But W.F.O. you probably gain a few over the slip on up top. I vote for ridealbity and the slip on improves upon that in every area. If you race track it ALL THE TIME,,, then a full is the way to go, but my bike lives the vast majority on the street, and the useable powerband is teh way to go. | |
