http://www.helmetharbor.com btw, IF you were asking about opinions as to the quality of these gloves, I'd give a thumbs down. A member of this forum crashed at apprx 80 or so and they didnt hold up. The metal looks tasty, but the gloves have little protection in the palm area. Picture to follow.

Thanks for the feedback.....appreciate that a lot!!! I like the one from www.rideicons.com. They look great but dunno if they are as good as those out there....

dont buy them, they dont hold up in a crash, and i tried them on, and they dont fit as well as any joe rocket gloves. plus lets not forget about how very easy it is to scratch your bike with the studds

In any case C&C, look for a glove with Kangaroo in the palm...Held, Teknic are just a few of the names who do this. Below is a pic of a Teknic glove for wallet friendly $69 from http://www.newenough.com under the glove clearance section...

I have both the Icon Ti-Max and Joe Rocket Speedmasters. The Ti-Max's run small so maybe the reason they didnt fit you so well was because you didnt go a size larger, mine fit great. So far as holding up in a crash, the Speedmasters are much thinner in the palm and both are stitched with kevlar thread. Any glove can be ripped to shreds in a high-speed impact situation. I would much rather take a spill wearing my Ti-Max's than my speedmasters.

Like the ealier posts read, there was a member here who fell at low speed and sustained damage to his hand.

I cancelled my order on the TI's and went with the speedmasters after reading the thread about the TI's not holding up. And to boot...it they will scratch the hell outts your tank if you're not really careful.

I have quit wearing my T1 max gloves , I happened to see the crash of the Red one that day and then the post of his glove afterwards. On top of that crap , I also have scratched not only my bike but other peoples bikes with the metal on the gloves. I have gone back to my crashed out Teknic's which are still very useable after sliding down the road dragging my palm and knuckles. Can't even tell. And for the Teknics pictured , those gloves rock. Very comfy , and you can use the knuckle pocket to store change and dollars for the toll. The only bad thing is I wore out the palm in about 5 months, but to be fair I was caught in the rain two times with them on.

I have now changed my mind on the Ti Gloves as the picture of the hole in the palm sent shivers down my spine... I think I'll go for the GP Plus Gloves by Alpinestars.... they look pretty cool and am sure will be comfy and all that... Now I just gotta get enuff $. ;)

A huge thank you Solidus. I WISH I had the pics of his hands...wasn't pretty. The thread "THANK YOU" cannot be found be a search. Guys, I'm just here to watch out for others. I'm not against a brand unless it doesn't deliver a decent, quality:cost ratio.

BTW the 2003 Teknic gloves are the bomb, really nice kevlar construction. And as for the TI max's that crash was'nt some 100mph get down get off crash, it was a toll booth stupid truck accident. Ask Red ONe. My teknic gloves held up much better on a serious 70mph slide around a turn.

OK folks, I'm not promoting the gloves ... just trying to lend some perspective. A slide is very different from an impact but buy whatever you are comfortable with.

Continue looking :)
