unknownpharoah 04-17-2003, 10:32 PM We shall call this ride the "Alpha ride 03" Hopefully we can make this a yearly event and if the success of your group keeps going strong we can have a season opening day long ride each year!:fact I do say this will be a early morning meet with a strict "roll out" time so we can get it all done.
This squadron kicks ass and I thank all of you for being a bunch of cool cats!:fact :rock
Darkside 04-17-2003, 10:33 PM I'm down with this run just remember EARLY.
JasonC 04-17-2003, 10:37 PM I hope we will all have chatter boxes... this should be a hoot. Maybe I should also invest in a radar detector too... thats alot of highway.
`bertr1` 04-17-2003, 10:38 PM a bunch of us from Victoria wanna get the Port Angles ferry and ride through the mountains and come back up through vancouver, how long of a trip is this? Anybody wanna join us?
JasonC 04-17-2003, 10:42 PM Correct me if I am wrong... it looks like we are taking 410 around to Chinook pass then going through Mt. Rainier park.... What I am getting at is there is not a Fill em' up station between Greenwater and Elbe. I don't know how far it is, but its pretty far, and probably need to ride somewhat conservatively to make it on just the fuel in the tank...
Luke--I think you're looking at about a 370 mile loop there. Sounds like a nice ride!
Josh--nice work on the map. Looks good.

Are you talking about riding down the west coast of WA then up I5 back to Vancouver? Click here (http://www.wolfpacksquadron.com/bc_run.htm) I think this is what you are talking about. Total miles 419.
`bertr1` 04-17-2003, 10:46 PM Darkside: damn! thats exactly what we wanna do! anybody wanna come??
Wow. That looks like a nice ride, too.

Jason from Enumclaw to Elbe via that route is 100 miles. However there is fuel at a town about 20 or so miles up 410 so it really shouldn't be an issue if we all tank up. I know I can go from my house to chinook pass to packwood on 1 tank before I need ot tank but I wounldnt go much further.

Just tell me when I will meet you up in Port Angelas and then drop off in Seattle. I'm sure there are some other Wolfpack guys that will go as well.
`bertr1` 04-17-2003, 10:51 PM what bike? ;)
JasonC 04-17-2003, 10:52 PM I was just worried, since I added 45t rear sprocket and rev a little higher in the RPM's than you guys do...
Darkside 04-17-2003, 10:58 PM use to ride a 00 Honda VFR then I saw the light sold it and purchased my R1

R6 Untouchable 04-17-2003, 11:07 PM Think maybe I could get another 10hp if I stick a type R sticker on it?
`bertr1` 04-17-2003, 11:08 PM haha I sometimes get 120 km's when I goofing off in 1st gear...
tidbit 04-17-2003, 11:08 PM Worked for me
tidbit 04-17-2003, 11:09 PM I'll be alright... she just tears through gas if i stay above 5k
R6 Untouchable 04-17-2003, 11:10 PM Carry a waterbottle in a backpack with some gasoline in it. :lol I would do it...mainly because I don't feel like getting stranded.
JasonC 04-17-2003, 11:18 PM Well its 81.1 mi from Greenwater (last town with gas before you enter Mt. Rainier) to Elbe. I will see what kind of mileage I will get on my next fill up. I should be fine...
tidbit 04-17-2003, 11:21 PM I'll work on my fuel mapping tomorrow.. should be alright by then.. if not.. I always got the 250 :rock
R1minger 04-18-2003, 10:24 AM I'm up for it. If we ride hard, you are only going to get 100 miles out of your tank, max.
Highway 101 on that section is going to be mostly solid yellow lines = no passing:( and alot of cops.
Date?
Darkside 04-18-2003, 10:39 AM First weekend in June. Like 7 June 03 I believe
tidbit 04-18-2003, 10:42 AM I love my banner :bow
