Had a good ride out today down one of my favourite roads. I live in Birmingham UK and me and my mates rode out to Ryhadder in Wales. As a little kid we use to go on holiday that way so I know the road pretty well. There's a couple of good straights that you can get flat out on so with only 1200 miles on the clock it was my first opportunity to see what it can really do. The weather was not ideal and it was a bit windy. Consequently I couldn't get over about 145mph:( . After 130 the bars started to shake and I could't handle it a 145:scared . I think it was just the wind as my mates said they were limited as well but I'm sure my old bike didn't do this:eek: Any one else had the same? Ohlins now on order.

Do you do alot of burnout? Check the back tire for a flat spot in the middle of it. Also stearing head bearing, or wheel bearings.

before getting my Scott's damper I never had this problem at high speed. I only got the head to shake when floggin' her in first and second - when the tire just hovers over the ground and when coming out of corners hard on the twister (throttle). I hope this helps. Aloha.

Yeah, I guess I am ok. Mine also shakes its head when I rag it in lower gears out of bends or on really rough roads. I'll get out and try it again soon on a not so windy day. Thans for the post.:)
