can you tell a difference with the velocity stacks?

I don't think you feel performance changes from just one mod at a time, it's a combination of mods that work to gether that will give you 6 or 7 plus when you start to feel it. I'm sure if I took my Black widow slip-on off and the v-stacks out i would notice the less power but when your already over 145 HP these small increases, even thought well worth it, are not as detectabel on you "butt dyno" as say you got 5 extra out of a 100 HP machine. Or course i havent riddin my bike for 2 weeks before the mod and only once since, sooo, buy 'em and try for yourself. I wouldn't return mine for $100 if that means anything....an ram-air box, K&N and PCIIIr would be nice right about now, but I should have a full system I think if i'm going to go that route....:beer

How different are the Graves stacks from the original parts?

The original parts only stand like 1/2 inch inside the air box, the Graves stacks stand about 3 inches inside. This allows the 2nd and 3rd cylinder to get as much air as 1 and 4 do with the stock pieces in them. so with the v-stacks on 2 and 3, they now equal 1 and 4 on air flow. With the air box back together there is zero trace of the mod done, they are totally enclosed in the air box...
