I have a teal Shoei that matched my old ninja.....
now I want to use it as a spare for my R-1.....can I paint it black then put stickers on it?
what sort of paint can I use? Is there any prep work needed other than masking?

hold on.. i'll awnser that later .. but in short..
yes you can paint it
yes there is prep work
yes you can put stickers on it
yes it is a pain in the ass if you want a "quality" finish with a used and abused lid

Hey guy, a buddy of mine and I just painted his helmet and the windscreen off of his 95 ex500 Ninja. All we did is went to Canadian Tire and bought the new Krylon plastic bonding paint. We got the glossy black paint and ended up painting almost all plastic on his bike with it. This paint rules. I highly recommend it, aslong as it is still on the plastic in a few months! For 6.99 Canadian you can't go wrong. The instructions say you don't even have to sand to get it to bond, although we ran a brillo pad over everyting.
