Kyle Racing - the group buy place

I wanted to get in on the Scotts groups buy so I used it as an excuse to take a trip down to Sand City to check out Kyle Racing where scud's been getting us the hook ups. The shop is small, but very pro, with an engine workstation, suspension workstation, and Dan is working on a trick geometry analyzer kinda like a Computrack. If you're in the bay area, it's a fun trip (skyline to 9 to 1, rt from sf 240mi). Careful, tho, Dan's a pretty cunning salesman. I left spending twice what I expected since I picked up a set of Arata rearsets. I've never heard of these but they are very well made, in jet black ano, and capable of gp shift w/o kit. More details if anyone is interested... Anyway, point was the shop physically exists and they know their shit and are on the level. The kind of place I don't feel bad about giving my $ too. k

well, the install was pretty painless even without my stand (no 6mm spools... damn). it looks to me like there may be a spacer missing to set up for race pattern but it is of no consequence. i took pics with my friends digital camera but there wasn't enuff good light for the pics to come out (work lights suck for taking pictures). i'll take some tomorrow in daylight and post em in the mech section. k
