Hey Gang, New guy here, great forum, need some help with a 2002 R1 front axle. Don't have a manual. DId a search & found the torque values but not the proceedure.
How does one go about tightening/torqing the front axle to get the lowers tight against the wheel?
Previous bikes had threads in one lower, just torque the axle & tighten the pinch bolt & its over.
Don't know about the floating axle thing.
