Yeah, I understand. It's kinda hard to keep something like this together, when we haven't even had some sort of organized meet for our squad. I think wheather or not we ever agree on a name or even keep the squad alive, it would be cool if we had at least one meet just to put some names to faces. Comraderie (spelling?) is what this whole forum is about anyways. Yeah, to long of a post. One too many cervezas. PEACE I'm outa here!

Lot's of changes for me recently also. Including looping my 02 at 80 mph. Now lots of repairs. Bad timing. Lots of other distractions as well. Still hope to be a part of something eventually.

I'm still in......as everyone mentioned...things are really crazy. Especially for me. My first post in about 2 months.

I know everyone has been busy. It's just that summer is pretty much here, and I thought it would be a good time for us to finally organize something. Our squad covers a large area, planning for something if gonna take time and I just wanted to get an idea of who's still in. P.S. - If you have any ideas of where we could meet that could possibly accomodate our entire squad please post them in the seperate thread I'm about to make.

Ok ... just a stupid question (ok questions) ... but how do you join the squad? ... what is expected of me? I'm still new to riding my R1. Not an expert yet but learning. Where would we ride? I live in Northwest Houston. Thanks.

You just joined! Nothing is really expected of you. I'm no expert at riding my ONE either. I ride with a group of guys from all aroung houston, and we usually meet close to Hobby Airport and go south to Galveston, or north to The Woodlands. Either route is a good route. Woodlands is for speed and curves, Galveston is for cruisin' and hangin out with other riders at Cherry Hill. If you're interested in coming out for a ride one time to check it out, let me know. This weekend I'll be out of town, but any weekend when it aint raining its on like Donkey Kong. Oh, and sometimes we cruise Westheimer at night. Let me know.

Last thing I read was that Oklahoma and Kansas were supposed to be added(Kansas being beside Missouri, and Oklahoma being southwest of Missouri). I like the Ghostrider name. Maybe we should elect our officers? I would be willing to ride to Texas for a group meeting(not every week:lol ). Would like to see this get going so we can get some patches and stickers made up.

I think there should be regions. Because Houston is a haul.... 3.5hrs (at the Speed limit). 2.5hrs (when we roll deep)

I also think that we should devide up out squadron. Our's covers the largest area, and I've only been out of Texas once whilst riding the ONE. I've gotta map, and I'll se what kind of divisions I can come up with. If anyone else has any ideas, let me know.
