Locksbottom to Hastings Run (Mon 5th)

Reapers, Monday is the biggest run in the south east for the summer. About 5000 odd bikes will be meeting in Locksbottom near Bromley/Orpington. Half way down Locksbottom (its a big shopping street) is a huge petrol station. Those who want to come on this should meet me at the pumps at 09:00, so we can all fill up on pasties and petrol. Then after talking bollocks about bikes and drooling over all the cool bikes, we all make a mad dash to hastings. If you haven't been on this before, you will see car loads of people turn up to line the route and wave us on. Anyway, Hopefully see you all there. Call me at home if you need instructions. Thanks to those who could make it (reapers a bit thin on the ground though). Hope the young girl (can't have been more than 16) we saw lying in middle of the road was ok, but by the way the ambulance service weren't exactly rushing I think she was dead. 165 on the way back was cool.

I went back on the A22 and the traffic was shit, so no high speed jinks (plus the missus was on the back) Good turnout at Hastings though, just like Douglas prom!

Fo' shizzle, After Juction 4 on the m25, suddenly ther was about 5 miles of motorway with the few car there were all in the slow lane. me and JAZZMAN gave it some stick, big style. I'm now awaiting an invitation to one of her majestys male rape centres, for speeding. Yeah man, the Ambulance service had it's work cut out, but to be honest, we saw some really stupid s*it going on, people were really taking chances. See ya later.

Know what you mean about some dodgy riding, some guys were taking big risks on the road back, overtaking on blind bends in bumper to bumper traffic....not big and not clever. There was some seroius riders that day as well as the damm right stupid, Anyway Satan bring over your bling bling R1 on Monday and collect your Bling Bling money. I think i will buy the under seat pipes for it though! Later Jazzman
