aha! yamaha have an optional alarm to go with the immobiliser that comes with the 2003 bike, I think the kit's a spyball rebadge, not sure. just wondering if it's best to to go yamaha option for the alarm or buy datatool/moss instead. No one (inc. yamaha) seem to have any helpful info on the alarm system - ym600.

what alarm have you guys fitted on your 2003 r6?

Mines a 100lb Doberman and Benelli 12 Gauge ;)

the key immobilizer is a UK thing. we DO NOT have it here in the states. So just go with any universal brand alarm you would like.

The alarm from tricktape.com looks like an interesting one to me. It can even start up your bike remotely.
