A Suggestion for the 013th

What do you guys think of simply calling yourself "the Lucky 13th." Your insignia could then be a black cat or something like that (after all, the R1 has the 'cat-eye' headlights). You guys have the coolest squadron number, so why not take advantage of it?

The Northeast is the 13th. That cat IS the logo from Eveready battery, but you could change the 9 to a 13.

How about the 13th Warriors?

I don't know how much my .02 is worth, but I think that it's an awesome idea to include the 13 in there somewhere. :D

The Lucky thirteenth is pretty cool. but old everedy logo is kinda weak. Can someone come up with a cool logo incorporating the 13. Maybe a little devil with a pitchfork standing next to a larger #13. Afterall the R1 likes to be a little naughty every once in a while.

Hey No6 thanks for keeping us on our toes. Since we can't seem to come to a conclusion anyway. I say if this thread gets enough positive reponces to new name then let's go with that. The logo on the other hand definatley needs work. I have very little comp. talents so I can't help there.

I was looking at a pic of my bike, and the R1's nose really does look like a cat. Here's a bit of hacking I did with Photoshop. Maybe someone with better (read: some) skills with computer art can make something of this:

I do not care for the cat logo! (just my .02) But Im glad someone is moving forward with this as we have been playing for over a year! There were some logos with the Yamaha Forks with the 13th squadron around/thru it? The devil logo that was suggested sounded pretty cool. Need someone with Photoshop skills to put something together (I have NONE) Voodoo

Could it be? Do we finally have a name? :) Speed Devils (or Speed Demons? Just a thought) sounds good to me. Ironic, though, that the "Speed Devils" take the longest to come up with a name. Not very speedy ;) :D

:hellobye I kinda liked the picture that Corwyn put up. It actually did look like a cat!! Very cool. :cool: If you guys are going to go with the devil thing, here's a little picture of a devil that I found. It's kinda cute and you could probably easily make him riding an R1. I think that something a little more badass might be appropriate though. Anyway, here's the pic that I found so far. Perhaps at the least it will inspire you to find something better to replace it! :lol: I'll keep my eyes open for something better.

BTW, glad you liked the cat I hacked up, RuppGirl. I think the cat in your Avatar is cuter, though. :) Kinda reminds me of that book I read as a kid... "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" or something like that...

Thanks Corwyn!! :D It took me a little while to make my avatar, but I think that it came out cute. Also, here's another basic idea. I just sketched it out real fast. Took me less than a minute. Maybe you guys could do something like this:
