dyno runs for filters or stacksvcyclenut 05-09-2003, 04:57 PM anyone have any pre and post dyno runs with just an airfilter change or with just velocity stacks, on an 02 or 03 r1, my experience with other bikes has been that there werent actually any gains when doing back to back dyno runs with just changing either one of these items, even though many people would swear that there was, there never seems to be any dyno runs to back it up, thanks 03R1stuNNa 05-09-2003, 05:03 PM most of the time because the bikes were not properly mapped to accomodate the changes.... vcyclenut 05-10-2003, 05:38 AM thats may be so but i would like to see proof , on my gsxr750 i had personally tried a stock filter a bmc and a k&n with no gains, i also tried the short velocity stacks and the bike actually lost horsepower
on my r6 i got 1 hp with a k&n euro filter , but i couldnt make a bmc filter run right, with velocity stacks(factory brand), i gained 1 hp on top but it also increased the midrange and flatened out the torque curve, which is kinda backwards of what i thought would happen
either way i would like to see some dyno runs | |
