PC3 Map

I am using the Akrapovic slip PC3 map on my 2003 R1 but I think it is a bit too lean for my conditions I.e. sea level, and hot temp. My bike has the Akrapovic slip on, velocity stacks and BMC air filter. Which map do you think may be good for the Akrapovic slip on while runing a little more rich then the standard Akrapovic slip on map. Thanks.

I am running an IXIL Slip-On with K&N and I have tried using all of the maps that Dynojet provided since they don't have a map for my pipe. None of them seem to work good. Like you said, seems like it is running a little lean. Anyone know where to find IXIL pipe and K&N map on a '03 R1?

I have a similar set up - except I have the yosh rs-3 (race), bmc race air filter and the velocity stacks - I downloaded a series of base maps for comparison and also to get a starting point for install - Of the 7 maps I started with (1 was purchased online from a dyno center - 5bucks) I found that the maps are almost identical along the power band - the place where the differences occurred were in the windows outside that power band area. The power band looks like a downward stair step starting at about 1500rpm/10pct load and continues down to 10,500rpm/80pct load. Like I said this power band is almost transparent between all r1 maps. A special note - if you remember - the bmc came with a warning - Do Not Install without also reprogramming specifically for it. And although some maps listed that there were for "either stock or aftermarket air filter" I'd have to think that those were probably K&N designs - Not the BMC Race design. Steven
