It is a fun toy.Full throttle upshifts without clutch or backing off the throttle. Goose 06-06-2003, 10:17 PM I wonder how well that shit would work in a wheelie? oisR1 06-06-2003, 10:24 PM it works good, i dont like it from 1st to 2nd because there is still alot of torque and you have to be extra careful but from 2nd to 3rd its great. archer 06-10-2003, 03:23 AM i got techtronics shifter ,amazing! ride no evo 06-10-2003, 04:50 PM I may be dumb but doiesnt that tear up your gears after a while??? terrasmak 07-08-2003, 12:14 PM probably but if your using it for what it made for (RACING) who cares , your probably ganna go thru thee eng and tranny at the end of the season anyhow , somepeople sooner chuckh 07-19-2003, 01:09 AM A PROPERLY SET UP SHIFTER will reduce transmission wear i use techtronics 20 feet per gear change on the track!!! ace:machinegu :machinegu :machinegu CHEERS CHUCKH Lord Melch 07-25-2003, 08:49 AM Nice, super smooth gear changes, road or track... so much that to ride without feals well strange.
Try : http://www.translogicuk.com/ Dragon129 07-30-2003, 10:39 PM I have a translogic ps4 system and it works flawlessly..........From 2 to 3 it is so smooth that if my front end is just off the ground being carried under power and i hit the button it stays right there until the weight of the front end overcomes the power and settles down........it doesnt jerk at all, its like all that happens is the rpms drop a little..............Each coil is controlled seperate and is pulsed out for up to 60 milliseconds.........This system even has a fully automatic setting that shifts at a programable rpm, just roll on the throttle and hold on...........I wonder what they will come up with next............:) kpyzfrwon 08-17-2003, 08:08 PM I really need a shifter on my turbo R1! Any thoughts on Dale Walker's Holeshot 2 shifter, or Techtronics, and about this Translogic, can u purchase in the states? How much? Thanks guys | |
