quickshifters

anybody tried a quickshifter?

yes I have a translogic superbike shifter with GDU gear indicator. It is a fun toy.Full throttle upshifts without clutch or backing off the throttle.

I wonder how well that shit would work in a wheelie?

it works good, i dont like it from 1st to 2nd because there is still alot of torque and you have to be extra careful but from 2nd to 3rd its great.

I may be dumb but doiesnt that tear up your gears after a while???

probably but if your using it for what it made for (RACING) who cares , your probably ganna go thru thee eng and tranny at the end of the season anyhow , somepeople sooner

I have a translogic ps4 system and it works flawlessly..........From 2 to 3 it is so smooth that if my front end is just off the ground being carried under power and i hit the button it stays right there until the weight of the front end overcomes the power and settles down........it doesnt jerk at all, its like all that happens is the rpms drop a little..............Each coil is controlled seperate and is pulsed out for up to 60 milliseconds.........This system even has a fully automatic setting that shifts at a programable rpm, just roll on the throttle and hold on...........I wonder what they will come up with next............:)

I really need a shifter on my turbo R1! Any thoughts on Dale Walker's Holeshot 2 shifter, or Techtronics, and about this Translogic, can u purchase in the states? How much? Thanks guys
