Group Order for 2002 R1 Seat Cowls

If I can get 10 people to go in on this I can get the seat cowls for $130 plus shipping to your address. If I get more than 10 I could probably get them for less. I can get them ordered now but Yamaha isn't going to release them until June. Also if I can get 15 people or more I can now get them for $125 plus shipping. It wouldnt be viable, they cost more here in the first place, by the time you had paid shipping i think the price would be very high. I cant understand why Yamaha have not got them available in the US already. It must be a larger market for them in the US than here. Perhaps you should take a holiday!!!! REGARDS SLIM.

Slimboydim- I might be very interested in a Euro seat cowl. I just ordered a Dainese back protector from Belgium, and shipping and handling aren't any more than it would cost in the US, they arrive in 4 days, and since it's below $200, there's little/no duties, espcially since it's not textile. As it turned out, I saved over 50% on the price quoted by Motorace. If you would be willing to provide contact info on the dealer in the UK (email would be best), I'd love to get in touch with them and see what the deal would end up looking like. I don't really feel like waiting until June.... Scott

has anyone else here payed jason horn (1bluer1), i did, he sent me 1 email after he got my 130.00 and i never heard from him again, i sent i email 3 days ago with no reply back, he said he would be sending out weekly updates, but i have not seen any yet? also i see another person on the forum can get them from the uk in ten days too the states. i just hope im not the only one who got screwed, and if i didnt, sorry jason for slamming you but if you take my money and say you are going too keep me updated weekly, please do what you say. maybe we should get them from the uk supplier, it may be faster

It would probably take about the same amount of time to get here since Jason said it should be here in June. well, again i have emailed and pm jason horn (1bluer1) with no response for the last month, i posted awhile back thinking that we all got screwed, but then he posted that he was out of town. i recieved 1 email stating that we would have too wait until mid july too receive the cowls, so he said email if we should hold out, or if we dont want too hold out and wait he would give money back. well, i emailed saying ill wait it out, and as always no reply ever sent. hopefully those of us that paid him already will see a cowl or our money back soon, or at least a email or a post on this site. he did say he would be giving weekly updates, hell, i would be happy with monthly updates

My buddy is a dealer and he is getting his cowls this week and he ordered them months ago, so the backorders are starting to be filled. Chris

I've been hearing similiar rumors, that the seat cowls are shipping to dealers. Problem is, several of us paid someone for ours and now we can't get a hold of him. I'm going to submit a request with PayPal to get my money back.

Here is what I got. I emailed him a week or so ago and he replied saying that he was waiting for the cowls to get in. I am not sure what his phone number is but I am sure that it can be found on the internet. He lives in Great Falls, MT which is about 3 hours away from me. If there is any bullshit going on, which I doubt there is, it will be dealt with accordingly. Believe me, I am not going to get ****ed out of $130. Jason seems like a good guy who is just really, really busy. I am just waiting patiently, but like the rest of you guys I really want that cowl. His email is jasonhorn@attbi.com. Yamaha released to the dealers on July 25th, from what I heard, which is yesterday, which means they are shipping on that date and we won't seem them for a little bit. how do i know i got my money back? will it be a credit too my credit card? or does it go into a paypal acct or what?

he should send you a paypal payment. i had sent him a payment request and he used that to pay me. if he hasn't sent you your money, send him a payment request from paypal.
